Dino-Mite!

The Junebug Weekly
Thursday August 25

Day of the Dinosaur

The Creative Corner
Stomp. Chomp. ROAR!

Dynamite Dinosaur Explorer Badge
Before spending the day as paleontologists, Junebugs will color their own wooden dinosaur pin.  They will get to wear their official dinosaur explorer badge during our day of dinosaur adventures.

Salt Dough Dinos
Junebugs will love playing with homemade salt dough, using tools and their imaginations to determine their creations.  At the end of this sensory play center, each Junebug will get to make a fossil keepsake to remind them of their day.

Dinosaur Egg Hunt
Junebugs will head outdoors on an important mission to recover lost dinosaur eggs.  Once all the eggs are accounted for, Junebugs will put them in water and watch baby dinosaurs hatch!

Dino Dig
Junebugs will practice their paleontology skills as they use tools and paintbrushes to carefully dig through the sand table to uncover buried dinosaurs.

Fossil Fuel
Junebugs will enjoy making and eating fossils (graham crackers with cream cheese and dinosaur fruit snacks) and trees (broccoli) to fuel them up for free playtime.
