Let's Go Camping!
The Creative Corner
Fish. Camp. Hike.
Brown Bag Backpack and Binoculars
Junebugs will use camp themed stickers to turn grocery store bags into personalized backpacks. They will love filling their pack with camping supplies (i.e. binoculars made from toilet paper rolls) and wearing them on our pretend play nature hike.
Crackling Campfires
Junebugs will glue sticks and crumpled yellow and orange tissue paper onto black construction paper to create campfires.
Two Percent Tents
Junebugs will paint milk cartons to look like tents. They will then use grass and sticks to design a camp scene for their tents.
Digging For Worms
Junebugs will have fun pouring chocolate pudding, crushing Oreo cookies, and burying gummy worms to make a delicious snack that looks just like worms covered in dirt and mud.
Camp Junebug
Junebugs will engage in social and pretend play as they fish, roast marshmallows, shine flashlights, and sleep in a tent at our realistic campsite.
