A Bug's Life
The Creative Corner
Learn. Observe. Create.
Sticky Bugs
Junebugs will learn the names and homes of common bugs as they practice using glue sticks to adhere paper bug cutouts to a paper bug habitat.
Egg-cellent Bugs
Junebugs will learn about the parts of an insect as they use a variety of fun art materials and their imaginations to turn an egg carton into a colorful bug.
Squishy Bugs
Junebugs will engage in sensory play while using their fine motor skills, bug knowledge, colorful play dough and play dough tools to roll, squish and shape 3D bugs.
Crawling Critter Catch
Junebugs will engage in social and pretend play as they dig in the dirt, lift up rocks and comb thru blades of grass in search of (plastic) bugs. They will love capturing the bugs in their jars and observing them under the magnifying glass.
Edible Ant Hill
Junebugs will make their own snacks by layering pudding (dirt), graham crackers (sand) and raisins (ants) to create a realistic and delicious ant hill.
