Morning Stretch

"Point to your nose, reach down to your toes, wiggle your hips, and bend your elbows.  Reach up high to the sky,  reach down low to the floor, stretch to the window, stretch to the door.  Whisper "shhhhh" and sit quietly on the floor.

All around the strawberry fields, we picked some juicy berries.  We brought them home and washed them off.  POP!  Go the berries.  (sung to the tune of Pop Goes The Weasel)

After all of their hard work, Junebugs will be rewarded with fresh strawberries, graham crackers with cream cheese and strawberry ice cream

Junebugs will enjoy mixing and stirring in the kitchen as they help to cook up a homemade batch of strawberry scented playdoh

Junebugs will stamp their handprints onto tiles and turn them into adorable strawberries that will last for years

Junebugs will love using magnifying glasses, plastic knives and their five senses to examine and observe fresh strawberries. We will focus on the color, the parts and practice counting
